"Firearms 101"
If you are new to firearms and want your permit to carry, or just want to learn how to be safe when you go to the range and practice, this is where you want to start. This class is designed for new shooters and covers the terminology of firearms, how they work, a little basic history, and teaches safe weapon handling and storage. The class finishes with a live-fire exercise of 50 rounds at 5 yards to start the student on the path to getting used to shooting a handgun. 10:00-4:00 Saturdays
Details For ALL Firearms Classes:
- All classes are non-refundable
- No-Shows are transferrable to any future class within 90 days with no rescheduling fee
- After 90 days any class may be rescheduled for $20
- Class Fee covers all expenses fees except a $20 range fee, ammo and weapon rental ($10 if needed)
- Pen, Paper, liquid refreshment, Eye & Ear protection and target are provided
- Students will leave with a Certificate of Completion

Minnesota Permit to Carry a Firearm
This class is designed for students that are already familiar with firearms. If you need an intro please take our "Firearms 101" class before attempting this one. Range tests will not be given until students can demonstrate safe weapon handling and familiarity. It will be an in-depth discussion of Minnesota Statute 624.714, the MN Citizens Personal Protection Act. Other topics include the mechanics of daily carry, what happens during and after a defensive gun use, and routine police encounters.

Covers all class and range fees (lane rental, eye and ear protection, target). Students are responsible for ammunition.

We offer two tracts to becoming certified to teach the Minnesota Permit to Carry class in the State of Minnesota. Do you have previous experience as a Firearms Instructor? We can get you certified sooner than you think! No experience? We'll make sure you're trained up to our high standards and that you know firearms and (more importantly) Minnesota Law well enough to quote statute! Income earned is filed on a Schedule C, we don't issue a W-2
